DAVID KATZ IS OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER IN SOUTH KOREA
Just another step in the journey of our friend, the legally blind, internationally renowned photographer David Katz of Katzy: Through My Lenses… and another example of what can be achieved when you live with the attitude of there being No Such Word As Can’t.
David photographed the Paralympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, with official accreditation. During his time there, he captured shots of medal winners Menna Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Kehoe and Millie Knight with guide Brett Wild as well as the inspirational Owen Pick who carried the GB flag at PyeongChang’s opening ceremony.
Channel 4 showed David in action during their evening coverage of the Games – you can watch the clip here. A special thank you to Graham Lewis, Richard Horne, Whisper Films UK and Here We Go Films for their assistance.
The 2018 Winter Paralympics was the most successful for Great Britain to date, and we were so proud to see David right at the heart of the action, doing what he does best.
